Frequently Asked Questions

Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed in certain rooms in our AAA Dow Villa Motel, not in the Historic Dow Hotel. Please call us to reserve a pet-friendly room.

What times are check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 4 pm and check-out is 12 noon.

What is the cancellation policy?
If you book with us directly (on our website or over the phone), our cancellation policy is 24 hours; you can cancel for free if you cancel by 4 pm Pacific Time on the day before scheduled arrival. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged one night room + tax.

Is there a pool and/or spa?
Yes, we have a seasonal pool (warmer months) and year-round spa. They are available for use by all guests.

Are the rooms non-smoking?
Yes, all of our rooms are non-smoking.

Is parking free?
Yes, parking during your stay with us is free, and is first come, first served.

Is long-term parking allowed?
Yes, we have an overflow parking lot where you can leave your vehicle. It is $25 per week, payable in advance. It is first come, first served. Please come to the front desk on the day you would like to leave your vehicle to pay and fill out paperwork.

Does the Historic Dow Hotel have cooling and heating?
Yes, the Historic Hotel has central cooling and heating for the building. (Rooms in the AAA Dow Villa Motel each have their own AC/heating unit.)

Do rooms in the Historic Hotel have bathrooms?
Yes, most rooms in the Historic Dow Hotel have their own private restroom. Some rooms do not have an attached bathroom and can use the restroom down the hall. These are listed clearly on our website “(No Private Bath).”
